This has to be my most favorite post so far because it is about Mean Girlsone of my all time favorite movies that I know the lines to. The basis of Mean Girls revolves around Cady Heron Lindsay Lohanan American girl who grew up in Africa, has been home-schooled all her life and, thus, is completely ignorant about the way an American high school works. She is thrust into the chaotic social scene and has to make a hard choice: identifying with the beautiful but vain and mean Plastics or with the real, accepting social outcasts.
Skip navigation! It only takes Mean Girls about 10 minutes before it breaks down its cliques. Beware of The Plastics.
A home-schooled teenager Lindsay Lohan who has spent her early life traveling with her archaeologist parents, has to attend a public high school for the first time when her mother accepts a position at a university. Befuddlement begins immediately as she tries to determine whether being popular is better than being herself, and has to confront the unwritten social rules and psychological intricacies that govern high school life. Directed by Mark S.
When you bled into the jeans from Booksmart, did they let you keep them? What about the amazing coat? Good luck. Where is the coat from?
How many people do you know that pulled a Ferris Bueller and turned a day of playing hooky into the most epic adventure ever? Yeah, probably not many. High school wasn't the type of epic adventure Hollywood often leads us to believe.
It's October 3, and that means a day of social media being taken over by the most memorable quotes from the most quotable movie of our generation. If you're a true fan of the movie, you've likely kept tabs on the talented actors. But it's also worth noting how they've continued to pay tribute to their LGBTQ fans in their careers.
Google Girls Trip right now, and you'll see two major—and extremely different—results: First, and most importantly, are the headlines about the film's success at the box office and what that means for more films led by women of color in Hollywood all good things, hopefully. The second? The Grapefruit Methodan oral sex technique demonstrated hilariously by Tiffany Haddish—without question the breakout star of Girls Trip.
In girl world or honestly, in any worldMean Girls is still one of the best films ever made. Beauty brands are lining up to create products around the film and I'm all about that. Between Burn Books, teen house parties and a much-copied Jingle Bell Rock dance, the writers and producers pretty much nailed it.
Google a picture of Diego Klattenhoff today, and you'll likely get mugs of the handsome, mature actor viewers know from "Homeland" and "The Blacklist. Klattenhoff's best moment in the film comes in the school's projection room above the auditorium when Aaron almost catches Shane and Regina making out, sans clothes. In a HuffPost Live interview Wednesday, Klattenhoff said the real comedy of the scene came from the skimpy underwear he wore in it.
